Troy Kirschner is the founder and chief operator of ACE Space Krafters.
A retired New York City police officer and dance performer and choreographer, Troy’s professional life and personal interests have prepared him well for operating a business that helps others by adding a little structure and removing a little chaos from their lives.
Troy has a passionate, upbeat, positive, “can do” personality, and balances that with a life-long love of learning and a desire to be the best he can be, in every task he takes on.
Troy was raised in Brooklyn & The Bronx and also resided in Staten Island for a time. He holds a BFA in Dance/Theatre from Lehman College, CUNY and has appeared in several Off Off Broadway shows. In 1985, Troy switched gears and began a 20 year career as a New York City police officer. When he wasn’t walking the beat, Troy was dancing in shows, teaching in the SPECDA/DARE program and earning his MA in Dance Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Before departing the NYPD with 20 years full service retirement, Troy began ACE Space Krafters in September 2001. He brought his business and his passion for professional organizing with him when he relocated to North Carolina’s Raleigh – Durham “Research Triangle.”
Troy’s vision for ACE Space Krafters is to earn a reputation for superior “go the extra mile service,” while taking professional organizing into dimensions that go beyond the services typical organizing businesses offer. This emphasis has led ACE Space Krafters to provide services such as shelving design, build and installation, personal organizing resources through programs such as Send Out Cards, and an emphasis on working with senior citizens and their families.
